Matt Speight began their career in 2018 as a Cyber Security Technologist at Vodafone. In this role, they were responsible for monthly statistic reporting to stakeholders, vulnerability scanning and reporting, process creation and implementation, automation improvement and shadowed penetration testing. Matt also led several training workshops to better develop their team's understanding of the Qualys scanning solution. In 2019, Matt joined parcelLab as the US/UK & Nordics Technical Account Manager, becoming the first technical customer facing employee in the UK. Matt implemented on-boarding and delivery processes to reduce the overall project time, globally. In 2021, Matt invested and joined the team at Alyve Wellness as the Chief Technology Officer. Matt led and rebuilt the Alyve front-end, back-end and fulfillment along with their analytics suite. This resulted in a 10,000% ROI in just 6 months of the solution going live.
Matt Speight completed their A Level in Computer Science from St Brendans Sixth Form from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Orchard School Bristol from 2011 to 2016. Matt also has several certifications from various institutions, including PRINCE2® Foundation Certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice (obtained in September 2020), BCS Level 4 Certificate in Employment of Cryptography from BCS (obtained in August 2019), BCS Level 4 Certificate in Cyber Security from BCS (obtained in April 2019), BCS Level 4 Certificate in Network Communications from BCS (obtained in February 2019), and Qualys Guard Vulnerability Management Specialist from Qualys (obtained in November 2018).
