Mechatronics Engineer at AM-Flow

Husain Khambati has a diverse work experience, starting with their most recent position as a Mechatronics Engineer at AM-Flow since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Amsterdam UMC from September 2020 to November 2022 as a Laboratory Technician and Researcher, focusing on researching and testing a soft robotic artificial heart. At DEMCON, Husain worked as a Project Intern from October 2018 to January 2019, where they created a demo using artificial intelligence for a KUKA industrial robot to solve a wire loop game. As an Intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre from January to May 2017, they contributed to the development and control of a 5-DOF coordinate measuring device. During their internship at The Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla from June to August 2016, Husain conducted research on Shape Memory Alloys and designed and fabricated artificial muscles for robotic facial expressions. Lastly, they held positions at Autonomous Initiative as Senior Project Coordinator from September 2015 to April 2016, and as Coordinator from November 2014 to August 2015.

Husain Khambati completed their secondary education from G.D. Somani Memorial School between 2001 and 2011, earning a Secondary Education degree with a focus on High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Husain then attended Jai Hindu jobs from 2011 to 2013, where they obtained Higher Secondary Education in Physical Sciences and Electronics. Following that, they enrolled in Manipal Academy of Higher Education from 2013 to 2017, pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Finally, Husain pursued a master's degree in Robotics and Mechatronics at the University of Twente from 2017 to 2019.
