Stefan Rink

Stefan Rink has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Stefan started their career as a Research & Developer at Rewa Budel BV, where they focused on product development for prefab and modular building construction systems. Stefan then moved on to Axall BV as an Engineer & Estimator, where they played a key role in product development, marketing, engineering, estimating, and project planning. Stefan's career then took him to Renomera BV, where they participated in a Management Trainee Young Talent Program, leading transformation projects and restructuring the organization.

In 2000, Stefan joined Oskomera Group and held various positions including IT Manager, where they were responsible for translating business requirements into IT strategy and managing the IT department. Stefan also served as the Chief Information Officer, overseeing continuous process improvement, internal education, automation, and meeting customer demands. Stefan was later appointed as the Program Manager, leading the implementation of SAP and overseeing the construction of new headquarters and factories.

In 2012, Stefan joined Oskomera Solar Power Solutions as the Managing Director Retail, where they successfully grew the turnover from 0 to 30 million euros in just two years. Stefan then moved on to Nestoo | Modern architecture as a Partner, focusing on designing luxury and economic modern architecture.

Stefan's expertise in the 3D printing industry led him to Shapeways, where they served as the Vice President of Global Manufacturing. During their tenure, they made 3D printing accessible and affordable, connecting people around the world with the best technology. Stefan later became the Director of Manufacturing Europe for Shapeways.

In 2015, Stefan became a Founding Partner at PAST2 - QRM Consultancy, providing support to companies in enhancing their business strategies, structures, and cultures. Stefan also served as an Advisory Board member at Additive Center B.V., helping companies find and apply the value of Additive Manufacturing.

Currently, Stefan serves as the CEO of AM-Flow, where their focus is on Industry 4.0 in 3D-printing post-production, aiming to streamline and automate the manual and workstation-based processes that follow 3D printing.

Stefan Rink has a Master of Science degree in Building Construction & Information Technology from Eindhoven University of Technology, which they obtained from 1991 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Gymnasium Bernrode from 1985 to 1991. In addition to their education, Stefan Rink has obtained various certifications including QRM Beta Specialist from QRM Management Center in September 2017, AEM Cube Leadership skills from Human Insight in 2016, QRM Alpha Specialist from QRM Management Center in July 2015, Lean certification from Blom Consultancy BV in 2011, Project Management in SAP from Capgemini in January 2007, Training Management Skills from Censor in January 2004, and Health and Safety for operational managers - VCA VOL from Koninklijke PBNA BV in November 2013.
