Joel Blasquez, PMP®, is a Senior Project Manager at Amadeus, where they have contributed significantly to various projects, including the first-ever full migration of a Global Distribution System (GDS) from an IBM mainframe to open technology. Their extensive experience spans roles as an Implementation Project Manager and Project Manager, overseeing initiatives such as GDPR compliance in test systems and the implementation of light ticketing solutions. Before joining Amadeus, Joel held positions at Telefonica, Matra Communication, Thales Communication, and Texas Instruments, consistently demonstrating strong project leadership and cross-organizational collaboration. They hold an engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from IMT Atlantique and a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute.
