Olivier Thonnard

Olivier Thonnard is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity operations and architecture. Currently serving as the Director of Security Operations at Amadeus, Olivier leads the Global Security Operations Center, managing critical teams focused on cyber defense, incident response, and fraud prevention. Previous roles at Amadeus include Senior Expert Security & Fraud and Information Security Architect, where Olivier contributed to the robustness of Amadeus applications against vulnerabilities. Earlier experience includes a position at Symantec as a Senior Principal Research Engineer, conducting research on advanced security technologies, and serving as a lecturer on computer science and network security at the Royal Military Academy. Olivier holds dual PhDs in Computer Science from EURECOM and Télécom Paris, complemented by a Master's in Applied Computer Science and an Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
