Marko Horvat

Marko Horvat has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Marko is currently the Director of Technology - Eastern Europe at Amagi Corporation, a position they have held since December 2022. Before that, they co-founded and served as the Head of Broadcast Solutions at CODE101 from August 2020 to December 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Koderi, initially as the CTO & Managing Director from February 2018 to December 2019, and then as the Managing Director from December 2019 to July 2020. Before joining Koderi, Marko worked at BroadStream Solutions, Inc., where they held the role of Director of Research from March 2017 to February 2018 and the role of Software Development Manager from June 2014 to March 2017. Marko also has previous experience as a Software Development Manager and Senior R&D Software Engineer at OASYS Automated Playout from August 2013 to June 2014 and from their start date in 2007 to August 2013, respectively. Marko began their career as a Support Engineer and later became an R&D Software Engineer at ON-AIR Systems Ltd (now OASYS Automated Playout Limited) from 2005 to 2007.

Marko Horvat obtained their Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing (FER) between 1998 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at V. gimnazija from 1994 to 1998, focusing on Mathematics.
