Angela Boyhan has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Angela is currently the Head of Global Alliance Management at Amarin Corporation since May 2020. Prior to this, they served as Vice President and Head of Global Alliance & Integration Management at UCB from July 2016 to April 2020. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Global Strategic Alliances & Centre of Excellence at Ipsen from July 2013 to July 2016. Angela also worked as Director of Evaluations and Alliance Management at Norgine from March 2009 to July 2013. Angela has a long history with GSK, where they held multiple roles including Project & Portfolio Management in the Oncology Commercial Centre of Excellence Europe, Global Project Leader, Global Project Manager, and Senior Research Scientist. Angela started their career as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at UCL from August 1989 to November 1993.
Angela Boyhan obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Analytical Science from Dublin City University. Angela also completed a Diploma in Science Communication from Birkbeck, University of London. Additionally, Angela pursued a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Galway. Angela further expanded their education by completing a Diploma in Business & Executive Coaching from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, as well as a short-term Executive Leadership Programme from Duke University. In the future, Angela plans to pursue a Master's degree in Business & Executive Coaching from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Angela also holds certifications in various fields, including EMCC Global EIA Practitioner and Coastal Skipper.
