John Kim

John Kim is the managing partner at Amasia. John has also served as a board observer at The Athletic from January 2016 to December 2022. Prior to their current position, John worked as an angel investor at Ginkgo Bioworks, Inc. from January 2014 to December 2021. John also has experience working at Choson Exchange and Amasia.

John Kim attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they received a BSEcon from The Wharton School and a BAS from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. John also attended Wayland High School.
