Evan Smith is a Design Engineering Project Manager at Amatrol since August 2017, tasked with overseeing all physical product design projects to ensure functionality, safety, and manufacturability. Previously, Evan served as the Design Engineering Team Lead, directing a team of engineers in developing educational systems that simulate real-world technologies. Earlier career roles include Lead Test Engineer at QuantiTech, where responsibilities involved managing test projects for DoD and NASA, along with Project Engineer and Data Analyst at Nexagen Networks, contributing to hypersonic flow analysis. Evan's experience also includes project management and engineering roles at Aerospace Testing Alliance, focusing on thermal protection material testing and simulation. Evan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
