John Haug has extensive experience in standards development and project management, currently serving as a Contractor for Amaxra, specializing in project editing for major software standards and providing support for ISO/IEC committees. Prior roles include Chair of the InterNational Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS) and Senior Standards Professional at Microsoft, where responsibilities encompassed technical representation and promoting standards adoption. A sabbatical since 2015 has enabled John Haug to pursue personal interests such as aviation and volunteering. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Cornell University.
