Michael Briggs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael is currently serving as the Head of amaysim and Challenger Brands on an interim basis. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Growth Consultant at Tas Gas.
Michael also held various positions at AGL Australia, including Transformation Director and General Manager Integration. At AGL Energy, they served as the General Manager Retail Development, Senior Manager Corporate Development, Head of Marketing, Senior Manager Corporate Development, A/GM Sales and Go To Market, and General Manager Connect Now/Head of Consumer Sales and Loyalty. Michael also worked as a Manager Customer and Market Strategy and Manager Retention Strategy.
Before joining AGL Energy, Michael worked at Telstra as the General Manager of Customer Experience, where they were responsible for the customer acquisition, growth, and retention performance of the Family and Fun consumer segment.
Early in their career, they gained experience as the Head of Customer Management at National Savings and Investments.

Michael Briggs earned a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
