Aaron Wang

Applied Scientist Intern

Aaron Wang is an accomplished researcher specializing in computational particle physics and machine learning applications. With experience as an Undergraduate Summer Research Fellow at the Washington Research Foundation, Aaron received grant funding for nanofabrication and contributed to research on quantum materials. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Washington, Aaron focused on adapting machine learning models for particle physics, optimizing deep learning implementations, and presenting research findings. Currently, Aaron serves as a C2 the P2 Graduate Research Fellow at Fermilab, investigating efficient transformer models for the CERN CMS experiment. Other notable experiences include a Research Fellowship at Princeton University, technical work at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and ongoing PhD studies at the University of Illinois Chicago, where Aaron is developing GAN models for superconductive materials and tools for biocide optimization.
