Abhijit Kumar

Abhijit Kumar is an experienced Applied Scientist at Amazon since 2019, focusing on the development of advanced AutoRCA workflows for agentic systems to address complex failures. Previously, Abhijit served as an Associate Consultant at ZS, leading projects in operating room capacity allocation using mixed integer programming models. An internship at Bounteous involved creating automated workflows for real-time ad recommendations based on user behavior data. Abhijit also gained valuable experience through internships at NTPC Limited, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, and the Defence Research and Development Organisation, working on projects related to hydropower optimization, asset management in electric power networks, and mobile robotics for remote mine detection. Abhijit holds a Master's degree in Quantitative Methods from Purdue University and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology.
