Ahmed Wafiq

Ahmed Wafiq is currently the Tax Planning Senior Manager and Head of Tax for Amazon Egypt, where they lead strategic tax planning initiatives across the Middle East and Africa. With over 18 years of experience in the tax field, Ahmed began their career in accounting before specializing in tax compliance and advisory roles, including serving as an Indirect Tax Director at PwC Middle East. Ahmed has developed strong relationships with tax authorities, which facilitates efficient tax management and compliance for Amazon's operations in Egypt. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ain Shams University.
