Ajaykumar Kannan

Ajaykumar Kannan is currently a Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where they are developing machine learning compilers for AWS Inferentia and Trainium AI accelerators. Previously, they held multiple roles at Intel Corporation, including Software Engineering Manager overseeing a oneAPI compiler team and Senior Compiler Engineer working on the Intel HLS and OpenCL LLVM compiler stack for FPGAs. Ajaykumar also gained experience as a VLSI Interim Engineering Intern at Qualcomm and served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto. They earned a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
