Ajimah Olaghere

Sr. UX Researcher

Ajimah Olaghere is a seasoned professional in UX research and criminology, currently serving as a Senior UX Researcher at Amazon since July 2022. Previously, Ajimah held positions as a UX Researcher at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where participation as a Fellow in the Interdisciplinary Research Leaders program occurred from September 2022 to September 2025. Ajimah also contributed as a Guest Editor for the Criminology & Public Policy Journal's special issue on Place, Crime, & Race from February 2022 to July 2022, and worked as an Assistant Professor at Temple University from July 2017 to July 2022. Additionally, Ajimah served as Associate Editor at The Campbell Collaboration from December 2019 to June 2022, completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at George Mason University from May 2015 to August 2017, and began a career as a Research Fellow at The Sentencing Project from July 2008 to January 2011. Education includes a Ph.D. in Criminology, Law & Society and a Master’s Degree in Justice, Law, & Crime Policy from George Mason University, along with a B.A. in Sociology from Colby College.
