Alex Libov

Alex Libov is an Applied Science Manager at Amazon Personalization, where they manage a team of researchers in the personalization organization. They obtained a Ph.D. in Distributed Systems from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, where their thesis was supervised by Prof. Roy Friedman. Prior to their current role, Alex held positions as an Applied Scientist and Senior Applied Scientist at Amazon, contributing to the Alexa Shopping research team and product relevance ranking. Additionally, they have research experience at Yahoo!, Intel, Microsoft, and IBM, alongside extensive teaching roles at the Technion, where they received awards for excellence in teaching.
