Alex Schaefer

Alex Schaefer has extensive experience in law enforcement and loss prevention. Beginning a career as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army from April 2008 to March 2013, Alex transitioned to roles such as City Carrier for the United States Postal Service and SGT/Field Investigator at Indianapolis Animal Care and Control from March 2015 until October 2017. As Field Services Supervisor at Lucas County Canine Care and Control until August 2020, leadership skills were honed. Alex then joined Amazon, where roles progressed from Loss Prevention Specialist to Loss Prevention Multi-Site Lead, culminating in the position of Security and Loss Prevention Cluster Manager, starting in April 2025. Education was completed at the University of Phoenix, earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from 2017 to 2020.
