Alex Zarutin has extensive experience in software quality assurance and engineering, beginning a career in QA at eCharge in 2000. After a role at Microsoft from 2001 to 2003, specializing in Office.NET and Windows XP teams, Alex served as Software Quality Assurance Team Lead at 4thpass/Motorola from 2003 to 2006. Since March 2006, Alex has held the position of QA Lead/Sr. Software Engineer at Amazon.com. Academically, Alex obtained a BSEE in Math, Waves, Antennas, and Fiber Optics from Moscow Power Engineering Institute (Technical University) and studied English at Washington Academy of Languages.
