Alin Popa

Alin Popa is a dedicated researcher and scientist specializing in machine learning and computer vision, currently developing advanced perception systems. They have held positions at prominent organizations, such as Amazon, where they worked as a Senior Applied Scientist focusing on regulatory compliance challenges through innovative ML solutions. Alin's previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at both the Institute of Mathematics "Simion Stoilow" of the Romanian Academy and the Bioinformatics Institute A*Star, as well as a contract position at Google. They hold a PhD in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the Romanian Academy and a Master's degree with distinction in Advanced Computing from Imperial College London.
