Alison McDonald, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon since 2024, having previously held the position of Senior Ergonomist at the same company from 2021 to 2024. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomechanics from McMaster University, where they were a PhD candidate from 2012 to 2017. Alison's earlier experience includes roles as an Ergonomics Consultant for various organizations, including LeadErgonomics, Vale, and General Dynamics. They began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Waterloo, graduating in 2011.
