Amanda Faig is a Senior Economist at Uber, where they focus on solving real-world problems through mathematical, economic, and statistical modeling. Previously, Amanda worked as an Economist at Amazon and served as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Washington. They have a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, and a B.Sc. in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto. Amanda has also taken on teaching roles, including as an Associate Instructor in Resource and Environmental Policy Analysis.
