Amir Saffari

Amir Saffari is a Senior Principal Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon AGI, specializing in generative AI and large language models. With a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Graz, Amir has held various prominent roles, including Director of Applied AI and Senior Vice President of AI at BenevolentAI, where they led advanced research in machine learning. Previously, Amir worked at companies such as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Affectv, and Import.io, developing state-of-the-art technologies in NLP and computer vision. Outside of professional endeavors, Amir enjoys working on creative AI projects, including a music-composing Twitter bot named "LnH AI: The Band."
