Amit Singla

Amit Singla is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Alexa AI Developer Platform at Amazon since November 2021, Singla leads the development of core AI and Large Language Model capabilities integral to Alexa's advancements. Prior to Amazon, Singla spent eight years at Google, where roles included Head of Engineering for Google Workspace Security & Compliance Products, overseeing multiple critical security solutions, and Senior Engineering Manager for Google Workspace Identity. Singla's career began at Microsoft, where significant contributions as Principal Engineering Manager included leading projects in enterprise backup and disaster recovery. Singla also held engineering roles at Mercury India (R&D) Pvt. Ltd. Singla holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) with honors in Computer Science & Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra.
