Anay Arun has a diverse background in engineering and academia, having served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Material Science at Rochester Institute of Technology from January 2017 to December 2017. Anay gained experience as a Mechanical Engineer under the MHRD-Research Fellowship at the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) in Dhanbad from May 2014 to May 2016, and completed a mechanical engineering internship at Usha Martin Limited in June 2015. Anay further developed skills in mechanical design and simulation during an internship at Ansys in 2018, followed by a role as R&D Engineer II (Mechanical) focused on multiphysics simulation. Currently, Anay holds the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer for the US West region at Amazon, specializing in Hyperscale Data Center operations, while pursuing an MBA at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Anay also holds a Master of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines) and a Master of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Science from Bharati Vidyapeeth.
