André Romano Alho, PhD, is an operational leader and scientist with over 10 years of experience in advanced transportation and supply chain management. They earned a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from The University of Bolton, followed by a Master’s Degree and a Ph.D. in Transportation Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico. Currently, André is a Research Affiliate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Intelligent Transportation Systems Lab, while also managing the EU Middle Mile Network Design at Amazon. Previously, André held various roles at Amazon and contributed to research efforts at notable institutions, including MIT and Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research & Technology Centre.
