Andy Thompson

Andy Thompson has over 15 years of extensive experience in technical risk management, security intelligence, and protective intelligence, with a career at Amazon spanning from August 2012 to the present as a Principal in Technical Risk Management. Previous roles include Manager of Technical Intelligence and Executive Protective Intelligence, focusing on security risk management, insider threat, and crisis management. Prior to Amazon, Andy served in the US Army as an Intelligence Analyst and held positions in various organizations, including responsibilities in criminal intelligence analysis for law enforcement and security analysis for Microsoft Global Security at AS Solution. Educational qualifications include training from the US Army and FLEAT, alongside studies at Pierce College.
