Anisa Kanji

Anisa Kanji is an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist currently serving as an Indirect Tax Senior Manager at Amazon since 2025. Previously, they held roles including VAT Senior Manager and Indirect Tax Director at PwC Middle East from 2018 to 2024, where they provided expert guidance on VAT implications and compliance, particularly during the introduction of VAT in the UAE. Anisa began their career as a VAT consultant at PwC, advising public sector organizations on complex tax transactions. They are also a graduate of The Chartered Institute of Taxation.
