Antara Dutta is currently the Director of Economics at Amazon, a position they have held since 2020, and previously served as a Principal Economist within the same organization. They were also co-chair at Diversity.Advanced from 2020 to 2025. Prior to their role at Amazon, Dutta contributed as an Assistant and Associate Editor for the Antitrust Law Journal and worked as an Economist at the Federal Trade Commission from 2015 to 2020. They earned a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master’s Degree from the Delhi School of Economics.
