Ari Anastassiou

Ari Anastassiou is currently a Business Intelligence Engineer at Amazon, where they apply intricate machine learning techniques to address complex challenges. Previously, they served as a Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist at IoT.nxt, managing analytics and data science projects involving unsupervised machine learning and time series forecasting. Ari has also contributed to education as a Data Science Project Instructor at Coursera, reaching over 50,000 learners with projects in machine learning. Their experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at DataProphet, working across various domains, and most recently as a Data Science Specialist at A.P. Moller - Maersk, focusing on advanced analytics. Ari holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Stellenbosch University and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from The University of Edinburgh.
