Arijit Biswas

Arijit Biswas is an accomplished Applied Science Manager at Amazon, with a tenure starting in July 2016 and previous roles including Senior Applied Scientist, Senior Machine Learning Scientist, and Machine Learning Scientist. Prior to Amazon, Arijit served as a Research Scientist at Xerox Research Center India from June 2014 to July 2016 and held research positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland and as a Research Intern at PARC and Toyota Technological Institute during 2012 and 2013. Arijit earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science from the University of Maryland between 2009 and 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jadavpur University, obtained in 2009.
