Austin Nichols

Austin Nichols is a Principal Economist at Amazon, where they seek economic evidence for the greater good. They previously held positions as a Principal Scientist at Abt Associates and a Senior Research Director at the DeBruce Foundation. Prior to this, Austin worked as a Senior Research Associate at The Urban Institute from 2004 to 2014. They earned an AB from The University of Chicago, a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University, and a PhD in Economics from the University of Michigan.
