Axel Navarro

Axel Navarro is an Applied Scientist at Amazon, currently working on advanced operational strategies. Previously, Axel held positions including Research Intern in Operations Research & Machine Learning at Polytechnique Montréal, where improvements were made to a hybrid solver using Reinforcement Learning. Axel also developed an industrial-scale strategy for passenger seating at Air France and implemented forecasting models during an internship at Infosys. Earlier in their career, Axel served as a French Navy Officer, managing logistical operations aboard the warship "Le Var." Axel pursued education in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at CPGE Lycée Bellevue and is set to complete a Master's in Operations Research at École des Ponts ParisTech.
