Ben Kadlec

Ben Kadlec is currently a Senior Manager of Applied Science at Amazon Robotics, where they lead teams focused on sensing, perception, localization, and mapping for autonomous mobile robots. Previously, they served as Perception Lead for the perception team at Amazon after the acquisition of Canvas Technology. Ben also held positions as an Engineering Manager at Uber, Senior Lead Engineer at Microsoft, and co-founder of TerraSpark Geosciences, where they developed 3D software and computer vision algorithms for seismic data interpretation. They began their career as a Research Assistant at the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute. Ben is presently continuing their education at the University of Colorado Boulder.
