Benjamin Yao

Benjamin Yao is a Senior Applied Science Manager currently focused on Core Modeling for Alexa+ at Amazon. They previously held multiple roles at Amazon, including Data and Machine Learning Science Manager, where they built a team of ML scientists and engineers and developed profitable advertising models. Benjamin also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCLA, specializing in computer vision and object detection, and gained early experience as a summer intern at Microsoft. With a strong foundation in machine learning and data science, they are dedicated to enhancing the user experience for millions through deep and machine learning systems.
