Bharat Varshney

Bharat Varshney possesses extensive experience in engineering and operations management, with significant roles at notable organizations. As a Fellow Consultant at Villgro Innovations Foundation, Bharat designed a solar-powered machine that enhanced income for women producers and formulated strategies for recycling silk waste, contributing to substantial profit increases. At General Electric, Bharat executed the aero-thermal design for a green technology power plant and improved product life cycles and efficiency using Six Sigma methodologies. Bharat later served as Vice President of Operations and Business Development at Boond Engineering, where leadership in procurement and customer service initiatives achieved remarkable improvements in fulfillment times and revenue. Bharat holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, a Master of Technology in Thermal Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, an exchange scholarship at EPFL, and a Master of Business Administration in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Purdue University.
