Billy Kao

Billy Kao is a Senior DSP Engineer at Amazon, currently working on Project Kuiper, where they focus on high-speed data streaming and digital beamforming algorithms. They have previously led the System Validation Team for functional and environmental tests at Amazon. With experience as a Senior DSP Systems Engineer at Pivotal Commware, Billy worked on LTE UE detection prototypes and telecom transceiver prototyping. Billy holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and has extensive skills in FPGA firmware development, project management, and technical writing.
