Bowen Gao

Bowen Gao is an experienced professional in sustainability and corporate social responsibility with a strong background in both consulting and program management. From December 2015 to October 2017, Bowen worked as a Consultant at SynTao, where 18 CSR/ESG reports were produced for various entities, alongside the development of a Handbook for ESG Reporting. Subsequently, as a Sustainability Programme Manager at ELE.ME from November 2017 to May 2019, Bowen contributed to the establishment of the company's first sustainability department. Further experience was gained at TRASHAUS, where Bowen managed projects focused on circular solutions for over 10 enterprises in the FMCG and F&B sectors. Currently, as a Program Manager for Social Responsibility at Amazon, Bowen oversees supply chain gender equity programs, supporting female workers across multiple countries, and manages a supply chain environmental compliance program in China. Bowen holds a BA in Environment & Planning from the University of Liverpool and an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Bristol.
