Carlos Avelar

Carlos Avelar is currently the General Manager at Amazon, leading over 1,500 Associates and fostering a culture centered on safety, quality, and engagement. They previously held positions at Amazon, including Site Leader and Senior Operations Manager, and began their career at McMaster-Carr Supply Co as an Export Account Manager for Mexico. Carlos earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has pursued multiple advanced degrees, including an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - Sloan School of Management. They also served as a Supply Chain Management Intern at Eaton and held managerial roles at CodeMetro, Inc.
