Carlos Luis

Carlos Luis is an Applied Scientist at Amazon, specializing in artificial intelligence research with a focus on reinforcement learning, optimization, control, and dynamical systems. Carlos holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and an MSc in Aerospace Engineering, having conducted over seven years of academic research and four years in AI research. Previous experience includes roles at Amazon, where they worked on delivery drones, and as a Graduate Research Student at Dynamic Systems Lab, leading to significant publications. Currently, Carlos is engaged in advancing safe and efficient model-based reinforcement learning at Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence.
