Chase Wimberly

Chase Wimberly is an accomplished corporate development professional with extensive experience in strategic mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and capital raising. Currently serving in a corporate development role within Amazon's Worldwide Operations since June 2021 and as a co-founder of Studio Smokescreen since November 2020, Chase previously held the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Gateway Blend, LLC, where significant contributions included launching a direct advertising sales team and completing multiple acquisitions for CinemaBlend and TravelAwaits. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Strategy Officer at Multiply, leading notable acquisitions that generated substantial revenue, and as SVP and Director of Corporate Development at Internet Brands, where successful acquisitions launched several new divisions. Chase began the professional journey with an internship at Interscope Records focusing on market analysis, after which product management was conducted for the Stanford Alumni Association. Educational qualifications include an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA from Stanford University.
