Chris Baumann is a seasoned User Experience Designer currently serving as a Senior User Experience Designer at Amazon since December 2025, focusing on smart vehicles. Prior to Amazon, Chris held various roles at tado° from May 2018 to November 2025, including Head of Design, where significant achievements included the launch of AI Assist and a comprehensive rebranding initiative. Chris has also been instrumental in high-impact product design projects, such as the creation of tado°’s award-winning product suite and the new agile electricity tariff product. With earlier experience at Futurice, SHARE NOW, and BMW Group, Chris has a solid foundation in UX design and strategy with a focus on the automotive sector. Chris earned a Master's in Collaborative and Industrial Design and a Master's in International Design Business Management from Aalto University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
