Chris Keefe

Chris Keefe has a diverse background in software engineering and management, with notable experience at organizations such as the Non-GMO Project, Northern Arizona University, and Amazon. As Retailer Programs Manager at the Non-GMO Project, Chris managed programming for approximately 3,500 organizations and secured substantial funding. At Northern Arizona University, Chris contributed to developing the QIIME 2 microbiome software platform and served as an Administrative Associate, where financial management of a significant federal grant was a key responsibility. Currently, as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, Chris focuses on pharmacy regulatory compliance, optimizing AWS infrastructure for cost efficiency, and enhancing policy engine performance. Chris holds a BA in English Honors from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northern Arizona University, complemented by post-baccalaureate coursework in Computer Science and Mathematics.
