Director & Head of Content Licensing US, WW Pay Movies at Amazon

Chris Mansolillo is the current Head of US Content Licensing for Pay Movies at Amazon. Prior to joining Amazon, they served as the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Production and Distribution at Sony Pictures Entertainment from June 2012 to September 2016. In this role, they oversaw 120 team members and managed 6 direct report Divisional Presidents.

Mansolillo was responsible for the generation of business models, structures, and operational strategies for new joint venture production companies launched in the UK. Chris also collaborated with the London-based European team on the due diligence, corporate analysis, contract negotiations, and approval for the $MM acquisition of an international production company. In addition, they gained a budgetary incremental increase of $MM annually to source key talent and term deals.

Conducting financial analysis and improving cash flow by overhauling A/R practices to capture $MM/yr., reducing labor expenses by 20%, and implementing process improvements were some of Mansolillo’s key achievements during their time at Sony Pictures Entertainment. Chris was also a key contributor on the analysis for major distribution agreements and executive approval on Over the Top (OTT) Subscription Video on Demand (SVOD) for highly popular series on Netflix, Hulu, and multiple Amazon deals.

Chris Mansolillo's educational career includes an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS from Pepperdine University in Accounting/Business.
