Chris Nosko serves as the Vice President and Chief Economist for Stores at Amazon, leading the Stores Economics And Science (SEAS) team since July 2023. Previously, Chris held various roles at Uber, including Vice President, Head of Science and Analytics (Product), and multiple director-level positions in data science and rideshare analytics from October 2019 to June 2023. Chris's earlier experience at Amazon from 2015 to 2019 involved roles such as Sr. Manager and Senior Economist. Additionally, Chris was an Assistant Professor at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2012 to 2016, worked as an Economist at eBay, and served as a research assistant at the National Bureau of Economic Research and NERA Economic Consulting. Chris earned a PhD in Economics from Harvard University and an AB in Economics and History from the University of Chicago.
