Christopher Cates is a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, where they oversee operations at a Special Handling Fulfillment Center. They developed strong planning and organization skills during their eight years in the United States Army, including roles as a Recruiter and Staff Sergeant. Prior to joining Amazon, they served as a Terminal Manager for Union Pacific Railroad, managing train traffic at major ports. Christopher graduated summa cum laude from Texas State University-San Marcos with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy. Outside of work, they enjoy reading, gardening, and spending time with their family.
