Chu Wang is a principal applied scientist at Amazon, specializing in areas such as sponsored products and prime video recommendation and personalization. They have held various roles at Amazon since 2023, after previously serving as a senior manager of applied science and tech lead. Before joining Amazon, Chu co-founded and acted as CTO at PrinceTechs in Beijing from 2014 to 2016 and worked as a member of the technical staff at Nokia Bell Labs from 2016 to 2017. Chu holds a PhD in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science from Peking University.
