Colin W. has a diverse background in cyber security and software development, spanning multiple roles and companies. Starting as a Cyber Security Intern at Netsmart, Colin's responsibilities included pen testing and security maintenance, followed by a role as a Security Engineer focusing on network and application security as well as incident response. Experience continued at Optiv and nVisium as a Consultant II, contributing to key projects until nVisium was acquired by NetSPI. After a technical internship at Terracon, where web APIs and a mobile application were developed, Colin advanced to NetSPI as a Senior Security Consultant. Currently serving as Security Engineer II at Amazon, Colin specializes in security architecture, threat modeling, secure code reviews, and collaboration with development teams. Colin holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University, where research was conducted as an Undergraduate Research Assistant.
