Dan Palmatier

Dan Palmatier is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in VLSI design and verification across multiple companies. From 2004 to April 2015, Dan served as a Senior Staff VLSI Engineer at Entropic Communications, focusing on MoCA PHY, DDR subsystem design, and encryption and compression processes. Prior to that, Dan was an ASIC Design Engineer at Hifn from 1998 to 2004, specializing in high-speed data compression and encryption processors. Dan continued to demonstrate expertise as a Principal VLSI Design Engineer at MaxLinear from May 2015 to July 2020, where responsibilities included high-speed optical and electrical DSP ASIC design and verification. Currently, Dan holds the position of Senior ASIC PHY Design Engineer at Amazon, leveraging a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from San Diego State University.
