Dan Qu

Dan Qu is a seasoned software development engineer with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, particularly in the realm of large language models and speech recognition technologies. At Amazon, from July 2020 to July 2023, Dan contributed as a Software Development Engineer in both Artificial General Intelligence, focusing on multi-modal LLM inference, and Alexa AI, where core speech recognition technologies were developed. Prior experience includes a Data Science Internship at Coral Genomics and a Research Internship at Harvard Medical School. Dan holds a Master of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence and Innovation from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained between January 2018 and January 2020, as well as a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, completed between January 2012 and January 2016.
